NAMPA, Idaho — Saturday, a large group of volunteers planted trees at Nampa Christian High School.
“It’s all part of service project called Planet. …
Organizers say more people than expected showed up to help plant nearly 50 trees.
“We knew we had about 50 people so it has been awesome,” said Eric Forseth, the superintendant for Nampa Christian Schools.
“As of yesterday we thought there was only going to be 15 to 20 people but we show up this morning and people were calling saying ‘where is everyone?’,” said Hans Ellis of Blue Ribbon Landscaping.
Blue Ribbon Landscaping donated efforts to help plan the project and nurseries across the area, including Stephen’s Nursery, contributed supplies.”
